PARSIPPANY, N.J., Dec. 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Budget Car Rental today announced its 40^th anniversary in the Republic of Peru.

Budget operations in Peru began in 1973 with a downtown facility in Lima and a fleet of eight vehicles. Today, Budget is the leading car rental company in Peru with operations at six locations and a fleet of approximately 300 vehicles. Budget serves customers at the Domestic Arrivals Hall and International Arrivals Hall of Jorge Chávez International Airport, which in 2012 had more than 13 million passengers. Budget also welcomes customers at its Barranco, Milaflores, San Borja and Surco locations in Lima.
