PARSIPPANY, N.J., Dec. 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avis Car Rental recently honored Avis Philippines as the Licensee of the Year for the Asia-Pacific region, in recognition of its ongoing commitment to serving the growing car rental demand in the Philippines and providing travelers and residents alike with world-class products and services.

Customers in the Philippines can choose from a diverse fleet of more than 450 vehicles including late-model cars from a variety of manufacturers, such as Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and Honda. Vehicles are available with automatic or manual transmission and can be rented by the hour (three-hour minimum), day, week or month. Avis Philippines also offers chauffeur service, global positioning system (GPS) navigation devices, child safety seats, vehicle damage coverage options and vehicle leasing services.
